The Chilean was injured for Bayern Munichs Champions League quarter-final second-leg clash with Sevilla, which saw the German side progress after a 0-0 draw, but Vidal seemed more interested in events elsewhere.
He was seen watching his old club Juve on his phone and cheered as they overturned a three-goal deficit in dramatic fashion at the Bernabeu.
As the match reached its dramatic conclusion – which saw Mehdi Benatia penalised for a push on Lucas Vazquez and Gigi Buffon sent off – Vidal relocated to the press box to watch the finale on a reporters laptop.
And he could not hide his disgust as Cristiano Ronaldo stepped up to take the penalty, throwing his hands up in the air, and he was fuming when the ball rippled the back of the net.
As well as having played for Juventus, Vidal – and his Bayern teammates – were also on the receiving end of a rather controversial call against Real Madrid in the Champions League last season.
However, Wednesdays events were rather less controversial than the offside call that year, with Benatia coming through the back of Vazquez and Buffons push on referee Michael Olivier meriting a red card despite the goalkeepers legendary status.
