As he takes some time out of the spotlight, it seems as though Ant McPartlin couldn't wait to be introduced to his best pal Declan Donnelly's first born.
Dec and his wife Ali Stall welcomed their new baby daughter Isla over the weekend, and after allegedly becoming the first famous face to meet the tot on Sunday, its now been reported that Ant is totally besotted with her.
Before rushing to the hospital, the 42-year-old took to Twitter to share his excitement, writing, “Welcome to the world baby Isla Elizabeth Anne. Cant wait for cuddles. I love you already!! Uncle Ant xxxxx.”
A source later told The Sun, “Ant couldnt wait to see Dec and Ali – and baby Isla of course. Its a dream come true for them all and everyone is completely besotted.” How sweet is that?
This comes after 42-year-old Dec said he fell head over heels for baby Isla after sharing the first snap of her tiny hand gripping his on social media.
Taking to Twitter, he said, “Ali and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our baby girl, Isla Elizabeth Anne, who was born just after 9 oclock this morning. Mother and daughter both doing well, Dad is head over heels!”
And Decs famous pals couldnt wait to comment on the sweet post, as Davina McCall replied, “Awwwwwwwww Ali!!! Dec!!! So please for you both !!! Im available for babysitting”.
While Ruth Langsford said, “Congratulations Dec & Ali….wonderful news. I expect little Isla will be wrapping you around her little finger from now on….!”
And Nicola Appleton commented, “Ahhhh congratulations!! X”.
Decs pregnancy announcement back in March came as Ant faced a tough few months following his drink driving charge.
Recently it was announced that the Geordie favourite wont be returning to our telly screens until 2019 so he can focus on his recovery, while Holly Willoughby will be stepping in to replace him on this years Im A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
Speaking about her new role, 37-year-old Holly recently said, “I couldnt be more excited to have been asked to stand alongside Dec for the next jungle adventure”.
