Floyd Mayweather has hinted that he would fight Khabib Nurmagomedov after the UFC star called him out.
The American boxer came out of retirement to defeat Conor McGregor in an incredibly lucrative bout but he seems open to returning to the ring in order to take down another of UFCs finest.
Khabib defeated McGregor in the Octagon on a high-drama night at UFC 229 in Las Vegas and he is now seeking a match with the boxing great.
Hey lets go Floyd, we have to fight now, the UFC Lightweight title champion said.
50-0 versus 27-0. Two guys, never never like lose. In the jungle, only one king.
Of course I am the king because he cannot drop McGregor. But I dropped him easily!
Mayweather tweeted out an article of Khabibs challenge and suggested he was keen to make the fight happen.
CBS, Showtime and MGM Grand get the checkbook [sic] out, he wrote.
While Mayweather would no doubt love another big pay day, he is believed to be heading for a rematch with Manny Pacquaio next spring so Khabib may have to wait his turn.
