Marcus Rashford came off the substitutes bench to plunder a vital late winner for Manchester United against Bournemouth.

Jose Mourinhos side were fortunate to emerge from a sloppy 25 minute opening spell only one goal behind after Callum Wilson deservedly fired the hosts in front from close range.

Against the run of play, Anthony Martial equalised, scoring for the fourth game in a row for the first time in his United career, 10 minutes before the interval by converting Alexis Sanchezs clever cut back.

United largely dominated after the break, but spurned a number of glittering opportunities and it seemed as though they would have to settle for a share of the points, particularly when Rashford, himself, fired straight against Nathan Ake from inside the six-yard box with the whole goal at his mercy.

The England forward, who was dropped despite the injury enforced absence of Romelu Lukaku, made ammends in stoppage time, stabbing home from close range after Paul Pogbas cross had fortuitously fallen into his path.

It was Rashfords second Fergie time winner for United; the first came in Mourinhos third game in charge of the club when United won 1-0 away against Hull City.

Only two players in the Premier League era have registered as many decisive injury time goals for United and Rashford is certainly in esteemed company given he now sits alongside Paul Scholes and Robin van Persie as a rescue act specialist.
