Martin Keown admitted he was embarassed to witness Arsenal’s first half performance against Ostersunds at the Emirates after the Swedish side took a 2-0 lead into the break.
Arsenal won 3-0 in Sweden last Thursday, meaning Arsene Wenger was able to name a weakened side in the second leg at the Emirates.
However, two goals in 70 seconds stunned the home crowd into silence and the Swedish side need one more goal in the second half to defy the odds and take the tie to extra time.
The Gunners take on Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday but Keown said he was embarassed to witness his former club’s performance in the first half and reserved criticism for Sead Kolasinac.
‘Kolasinac doesn’t seem the same player as the one who joined – he was an animal but he doesn’t seem hungry now,’ Keown told BT Sport.
‘The goal was coming, not one part of the Arsenal team is functioning, the team is imploding.
‘I am embarassed watching as a former player nevermind how Arsene Wenger must feel. It’s a big week for Arsenal, they’re not going to win the Europa League with a performance like this.’
