The Reds are extra keen on signing the 26-year-old after negotiations with Lyon over signing Fekir recently broke down.

The Ligue 1 club recently broke off transfer negotiations with Liverpool regarding the transfer of Fekir, and the Reds have prioritised Shaqiri as the perfect alternative.
