Manchester United submit offer to sign Nabil Fekir ahead of Liverpool

Manchester United have submitted an offer to sign Nabil Fekir ahead of Liverpool, according to reports in France.
The Lyon midfielder was on the brink of moving to Anfield earlier this month before Liverpool pulled the plug on the £53 million deal.
Liverpools reservations stemmed from the cruciate ligament injury Fekir suffered in September 2015 as the 24-year-old required two operations on his right knee inside the space of 12 months.
According to Le Progres, Liverpool had attempted to lower Fekirs asking price by €5m (£4.4m) following the midfielders medical but Lyon refused to budge from their valuation.
The report claims that Fekir has since received offers from other clubs – one of which being Manchester United.

Last week, Fekirs agent claimed that the Lyon midfielders move to Liverpool is not finished.
Why hasnt he signed? Because it is not finished. The story is not finished, Jean-Pierre Bernes said.
Fekir, meanwhile, has dismissed suggestions that his knee injury poses a risk to clubs wanting to sign him.
My knee is super-good, he said.
We work a lot on it, we reinforce it. But I honestly feel like before my injury.
