Callum Hudson-Odoi has urged Maurizio Sarri to keep him in Chelseas starting line-up ahead of the new season.
The 17-year-old has been one of Chelseas standout performers during their pre-season tour and fans are urging Sarri to give the forward an extended run in the first team.
Hudson-Odoi delivered another impressive performance in the friendly against Arsenal on Wednesday evening, and after the match he admitted he remains keen to make an impact on Sarri ahead of the new season.
Today, obviously I think I did well, Hudson-Odoi told Chelsea TV.
I was trying to get at him as much as possible.
But at the same time the team was giving me the ball, so it was helping me as well to get at him.
It always boosts my confidence playing three games in a row, as well as starting, because it just gives me more of a lift every time I play.
I feel like Im more confident on the ball, I want to get the ball, I want to do my stuff.
And the more and more chances I get the more I want to impress as well.
I just want to keep getting chances, hopefully the manager sees that and gives me the opportunity to play and hopefully I keep impressing.
