Mohamed Salah became the fastest player in Liverpool history to reach 50 goals in a red shirt during the sides 4-0 thumping of Red Star Belgrade.

The Egyptian scored twice against the Serbians to take his tally to 50 goals for Liverpool in less than 18 months at Anfield.

Salah joined the Reds in a £34million deal from Roma in 2017 and scored 44 goals in his debut campaign on Merseyside.

However, his double tonight means hes made the half-century in just 65 appearances for the Reds.

Thats quicker than previous record holder Albert Stubbins who did it in 77 matches.

Salah scored his first of the night when he converted a nice lay-off from Xherdan Shaqiri and blasted home with his right foot.
