Strictly Come Dancing professionals tease bombshell when discussing Darcey Bussells replacement
Darcey Bussell shocked fans when she announced she was stepping down from Strictly Come Dancing.
The former ballerina shared news of her departure on social media, saying, I know I will miss being part of this unique show, and the fact that it celebrates dance is something I am so passionate about.”
Since then, fans have speculated wholl be replacing the much-loved former judge.
Its been a hot topic recently, with This Morning hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby sitting down to talk to three professional dancers about the news.
Aljaz Skorjanec, Giovanni Pernice and Gorka Marquez spoke to the duo about Darceys departure, agreeing that the news was “very sad”.
However, none of the dancers commented on her replacement.
Ballroom dancer Anton du Beke seems to be a fan favourite at the moment, and Holly asked the dancers if they felt hed be a good replacement.
Aljaz didnt speak directly on the subject, instead saying, “I do believe anyone the producers will choose will be the right choice.”
Phillip then asked if Darceys replacement had big shoes to fill, to which Giovanni answered that she actually had quite tiny feet.
