Geoffrey Boycott slams two England players after shock World Cup defeat to Sri Lanka

Geoffrey Boycott took aim at Moeen Ali and James Vince after Englands shock World Cup defeat to Sri Lanka.
Eoin Morgans side wasted a golden chance to all-but secure their place in the knockout stages of the tournament after suffering a 20-run defeat to Sri Lanka in Leeds.
Sri Lanka were restricted to 232-9 off their 50 overs but England lost four wickets for 16 runs to be eventually bowled out for 212 despite Ben Stokes unbeaten 82.
Following the defeat, England legend Boycott was particularly critical of Vince, who has failed to cement his place in the Test and one-day side, and Moeen.

I am sorry for all those people who think James Vince is an international batsman, Boycott told Telegraph Sport.
Driving on the up at Headingley like he did against Sri Lanka on Friday is a no, no. Historically, even on a good pitch, the odd ball will move around. Pitches at Leeds have always kept the seamers interested.

Vince plays pretty little cameos but keeps getting himself out. He flatters and then deceives us without ever delivering a big score. When is he going to learn? It appears never.
Boycott added: What was Moeen Ali doing? He was caught on the long-off boundary trying to hit a six with a man out. He had just swept the spinner for six so was that necessary? Not smart.

Does he ever think about what he is doing or does he just throw the bat at the ball and hope it comes off?
