Huge road-bridge had to be evacuated because of foul-smelling 300 year-old Bible

A large traffic bridge had to be closed and evacuated because of a foul-smelling 300 year-old Bible, police say.

The Mathews Bridge in Jacksonville, Florida, was closed down Friday afternoon when a driver whod bought the holy book and had it in her car was overpowered by its scent.

She told Jacksonville Sheriffs Office that the smell left her feeling nauseous and that she felt a shooting pain her lungs.

The medical drama prompted the woman to pull over and call Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.

Once they arrived on the scene, the woman alerted them to the package containing the old Bible, which shed bought off the internet.
