Krystian Bielik has never made a Premier League appearance for Arsenal but the 21-year-old has become a surprise transfer target for AC Milan this summer.

The Poland under-21 international, who can operate in central defence of defensive midfield, spent last season on loan at Charlton in League One, catching the eye at the Valley.

Bielik made 31 appearances as Charlton won promotion to the Championship, earning the Man of the Match award in the play-off final against Sunderland.

However, the Evening Standard reports that Unai Emery does not see him coming into his first team plans just yet and wants to send the rising star out on loan again this season.

The Pole disagrees, feeling he is ready to make the step up and is ready to leave the club to find regular top flight action elsewhere.

The Gunners are not keen to let Bielik go, but if a sizable offer comes in for his services then they may be tempted, with his contract expiring in 2021.

Bielik has made his position clear, saying recently: My future is unknown but there is one thing I can say for sure: I will definitely not go back to Arsenal Under-23 team.

At this stage it wouldnt make sense. If I do not receive the possibility to join the first team permanently, I will have to look for other solutions.

I feel like a senior player now so I want to play senior football.
