This Mornings Ruth Langsford has returned to social media following her sisters death to send well wishes to a friend.
Strictly Come Dancing star Gemma Atkinson welcomed her first child with partner Gorka Marquez. Ruth Langsford had also appeared on the series alongside Gemma.
Gemma shared her big news on Instagram, alongside an image with a sweet quote about family which read, “Lifes greatest blessing. A group that dreams, laughs, plays and loves together. Those whom you can always count on. Always present not only in the good times. The most precious gift.”

Ruth commented on the update congratulating Gemma and Gorka, saying, “Congratulations Yummy Mummy & Daddy!

Ruth has been taking some much needed time off after her sister Julia passed away last month aged 62. The TV star wrote at the time, “My lovely sis Julia has sadly died after a very long illness. My heart is completely broken.
