Manchester United set to offer Jesse Lingard, Mason Greenwood and Paul Pogba new contracts
Victor Lindelof signed a new deal with the Red Devils on Wednesday, while David de Gea agreed a new contract on Monday as the club looks to tie down the futures of their key players.
Lingard and Greenwood are likely to be relatively straight forward to deal with, but negotiations with Pogba will be difficult and quite possibly unsuccessful.
The Frenchmans current deal runs out in 2021, but United have the option to extend it by a year, leaving them room to manoeuvre and not risk Pogba running down his contract.
The World Cup winner declared at the start of the summer that he was looking for a new challenge away from the club and he would take some serious persuasion to extend his stay at Old Trafford.
However, the club want to avoid another transfer saga over next summer and get the midfielder to commit his long-term future to them.
Lingard has two years left on his contract, while Greenwood only signed professional terms with United less than a year ago, but now he is performing in the first team, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to secure his future.
Solskjaer said of Greenwood: Masons one of the best finishers Ive seen and Ive played with a few decent ones.
Hes still very young, Mason, but hes maturing, hes developed so much in the last six months since I came in.
